Blood Diamond

[COBRA COMMANDER]

Another very good movie. I've never been a DiCaprio fan, but this guy can flat out act. This story will make you aware of the issues behind the acquisions of diamond. It is a bit long, but the story is well told and opened my eyes to the plight of those forced to mine for diamonds.

Good movie. I think this movie will be no better in the theater than in the living room for the non movie junkie.

here's what I dont understand, the movie from what I've seen in the commercials looks great!!!!! I just dont understand how a very well known actor after being so familiar with in various movies, they make him play a part with a fake accent, couldn't they have done it without the phony accent?? Otherwise I'll que it up when it comes to netflix

[The Terminator]

I am sorry I am so late chiming in on this. George, his accent is one of the things that makes DiCaprio great in this movie. Of coarse we all know this now that he has been nominated for an Academy Award.

This is another little film that I would have missed if I hadn't heard so many good things about it. The movie moves slowly, but the story is heart felt. Check it out if you can.

Hey guys...haven't seen the film but have been aware of the blood diamond situation.

For some reason, like most dudes I HATE DiCaprio. But I always like his movies. Gangs of New York, The Aviator, and The Departed were all great films. Probably has more to do with the fact that Martin Scorsese directed all those films. DiCaprio/Scorsese will be teamoing up again in 2008 in a film called "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt" which you can probably guess what that film will be about.
