That's a loaded question as you'll get both yes and no.

I ran without them on my 01 Cobra and didn't hear any noises whatsoever. However, remember that if you don't have them in you will have metal to metal contact, which may cause some rust problems (in the spring perch) down the road if you drive your car in all weather conditions. I saw a little bit of this on a friends car.

So to better answer the question.. Why do you not want to put them in? I took them out of my car so the car would sit just a hair lower.

was just curious actually. That rust thing got my attention because this is my daily driver all year so I'll be using the isolators.
