Sorry I meant "another one" :) I remember you told me before you had others. My cats are 2 years and the other 9 months, my mini daschund is 2, they keep me busy.

Geeky factoid of the day---did you know that calico cats are the result of random X-chromosome inactiviation, and that they are always female? :) (Well, I guess there is the occasional sterile male, but that doesn't count since it doesn't have normal male chromosomes, anyhow!) :Word:

Yep. Have never seen calico male (sterile or otherwise). With Persians especially, you also have to watch the white blue-eyed ones, as they are almost always deaf. These little girl's parents are certfied genetically free of all the normal issues, so she should be good to go other than the normal problems that flat-nosed cats have with their eyes/sinuses not draining very well.

Everyone had an up-close sniff and hiss tonight, so integration has begun. :)
