an undercover CMPD officer who didn't want to be identified told the Observer. One Mustang had a racing engine in it, police said.

Gee ya think. The entire article is about street racing. Besides that wow they are going fast on the highway. I do my share of 100+ sprints but it's on back roads with no one around, but me..

If anyone finds out when/where the auction is, post up.

A hard lesson to learn at any age with a vehicle price of any dollar amount. Hate to see anyone lose their ride.

It does not take much time or even money for that matter to go to a race track or drag strip. I guess some people want to risk it all for an ego thrill, that white Cobra on that flat bed looked nice, sucks the owner lost it.:nutkick:

Not that I condone street racing... But a long time ago in a galaxy far far away I did my share.

I had a fox body GT try to convince me to race him several months ago. No way in hell was I going to. I waited looong enough to get the LX and now that I have her she is not raced at all and babied some. Yes, once in a while I will feel the urge to squel the tires.
