I will not be able to make it. I will be in line at the Best Buy in Garner for a PS3. I hope to make enough reselling on EBAY for a nice clutch and flywheel for the Cobra. If anyone wanted to drop some hot food by, that would be awesome:grinking:

12-1600, ya right.
I just got a call from Gamestop, I have one already on pre-order I waited at 3:00am when they went on pre-order, and was 3rd in line, well nyway,I get a call from Gamestop, saying that there wont be as many PS3's as they had planned so a few pre-orders are getting cut short, however I am still scheduled to get one friday. But if I wanted to give up my pre-order and wait for the 2nd shipment, get this........ they would give me a store credit of $20. And 12-1600, I checked eby and apparently everyone is getting this call, cause people are using it to jack up the price, how much you ask???
Try $3500!!!!
if you go on ebay and have it post from highest to lowest there is a entire page where you cant find it cheaper then $1899. The 60g PS3, cost 600 and change.

Back on Topic, (sorry for the highjack)
I look foward to seeing everyone at the meeting tomorrow, it's been awhile since I even went to any events. Goodluck to all those running for new offices, it's nice to be in a club that has those wanting to volunteer to help keep a healthy and active club.

*P.S.: It's not for sale:)

Did you hear that someone hired homeless people to sit in line for them?

you tear the C-note in half, give them a half and then offer the other half after you got the PS3 in hand.

They did not pay the homeless people up front. As the evening wore on, people paid money to the homeless guys for their spots. The guy started off with 14 and ended up with 4 which he replaced with friends at about 7:00 PM last night so that he would not lose anymore. There was no loyalty from the homeless guys, money talks and $250 now is better than $200 tomorrow morning.

O man, that is AWESOME! Even the homeless people grasp capitalism.

Thanks, I'll wait for the newsletter to then. The roads may be better but the idiots on the road see a hint of white and they cant drive worth a darn, so I'm thinking I'll pass.
