Shooting Cars on Speed Channel

Has anyone been watching that new show on Speed Channel called “Shooting Cars”? In the two episodes last night they destroyed at least three or four GT500’s shooting a new Will Smith movie in NYC!!

I like the show but I couldn’t stand watching what they did to those Shelby’s!!! One of the cars they cut the whole front end off up too the firewall…. :banghead:

Yes! I watched it last night for all of a glance to see what they were doing & got heartsick! Call me female or whatever, but I thought I wanted to puke!

You would think they would atleast try to limit the losses. I mean film all the good scenes first then destroy...if you REALLY have to....and then do all the beat up scenes after that. That would only take 1 car instead of darn near a handful!

I guess that makes to much sense!

What I found to be interesting about this show is, the owner is a huge shelby fan. It didn't seem to bother him a bit that they were busting up 2 of the new GT500's. Not sure what to read from that, but just something I noticed.

they took a third one and cut the front end off so they could attach it to some kind of drive machine that's used in the movies. It's a pretty cool show.
