New Mustang body style....

It's on the cover of Road and Track. It must be a concept but I've got to say it is NOT for me. It looks like they are going toward the mustang concept drawing from a few years back. The round grill fog lights haven't changed and yet they narrowed the nose. I just don't understand what the heck they are going for with it. I guess I could say that I like the pony in the grill. :wink: That is about it though.

Looks like they are going for this but put the 05+ fog lights in the grill. You have to see the images inside the mag.

I hope that is not it. Whatever happened to the "hips" we were supposed to get?

On the other hand, if they make that, I do not see it as being as popular as the current version. That would help keep the value up.

I will with hold judgement until the final product arrives. I didn't like the original concept of the current Mustang, but quickly changed my mind when I saw the final version. It continues to grow on me with all the new models, interior and exterior changes. Remember when the SN95's arrived in the mid 90's (my dates may be wrong)? We grew to love them. I know; I bought a 1997 Mustang GT.

Ok, that green thing is nothing more than a photoshopped version of the GTR photos that came out a few years ago, so you can toss that one out the window.

The red vert looks like one of the photos from inside R&T. There was a silver mustang in there that really looks more like the drawing.

That is the body style you are currently driving. Your photo is of the 2005 concept car and not of the 2009 changes.

That retractable hardtop idea is geneous for a mustang. Hopefully it keeps the same lines as hardtop. I would actully look into buying a convertable if it comes to be true.

I find it interesting, I'll wait to see what it turns out to be as well. I do think the conv-hard top is great! been wanting that for years!
