COBRA COMMANDER

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of those who attended the show as a participant, was a sponsor, or club member who's efforts contributed to the success of our day!
Thank you to all the organizations that came today; Mustangs of Burlington, Fastlane Motorsports, Chaos Car Club, and the Twisted Stallions. We hope you enjoyed yourselves and look forward to seeing you again next year!
There are two people I would like to point out whose efforts made the show possible. Tim Henshaw put in a significant amount of time and effort to secure a new location, bring in new show sponsors, ensure the club had adequate insurance for the show, and seek out a new trophy format. The show takes time and effort and requires even more attention to detail than any other event we host/participate. When a day like today goes off without a hitch it can appear that the job was easy. I assure you it is not. He also had help from his wife Julie who has been in contact with the Food Bank and was able to get some literature and a banner to help promote our club charity. And her efforts are not over as they have collected the food and will be making the trip to deliver the contributions. Thank you Tim and Julie for all of the time you have given to this effort!
Last but not least, thanks to the entire car show committee who put this show on. Without your efforts, the show wouldn't have been successful. Nothing can take away from the hard work that went in and the smiles and joy that so many showed today as the awards were handed out. I hope each of you has taken pride in what was accomplished today and I hope you all will step up and contribute again next year.
On behalf of all the officers and the club, we thank you all for your contributions today.
Regards,
Wayne Demers
Club Vice President
