I searched and didnt really find any *recommended* tuners here in the local area.... called one shop - was quoted $250 for a dyno tune...

I'm trying to decide between a C&L CAI/XCAL2 combo from bama or a custom dyno tune someplace local.....

Im leaning towards the mailorder route since my GT ('06, AUTO) will be 100% stock with the exception of the CAI.... I was thinking a dyno tune might be a better investment once I've added a few more mods (down the road).

Also- Im seeing alot of other folks with AUTO GT's raving about the shift point tweaks....

Thoughts, suggestions, insults?

you dont even need a tune, wait till you have more things done then take it to fastlane.

You mean- dont need a tune beyond the bundled tune with the CAI- right? My understanding weas that you need a tune for CAI (unless you go with K&N or one of the others thats touts- no tune needed).

I think a dyno tune for cold air kits on the late model cars is wise. I would recommend the above estalblishments over a mailorder chip/tuner.
