:banghead: I am installing long tube headers in my driveway. I have all the nuts off except for the two in the back on the passenger side. I have been trying to figure out way to get them off all day. Does anyone know a way to get at them with out droping the K-member(don't have an engine hoist to support engine):banghead:

It seems like I saw a posting on corral on how to do the job. But if my memory serves me, you will still need to move the engine up and down a bit to expose different bolts which means you will need to take off the 2 motor mount bolts on each side of the k-member. We removed my k-member - so sorry not much help.

a lift or 4 jack stands will do. i did mine in a garage from the floor, it took a while but we had the jack stands and removed the k-member.

I got the last bolt out this morning. I'm going to be using stage 8 locking header bolts, but the ones i have only thread in for 2 threads. I called jegs to double check, and i checked stages 8's website. The stock numbers match up. Have any of you used these and had the same problem? don't want to cross thread anything..

When you removed the K-member did you disconect the Rack and pinion, and was it hard to line back up when finished?

Finally after working on my car off and on for a week now. I'M DONE :pepper: putting those LT on. maybe it's the fact i haven't driven it in a week, or maybe it's just faster but holy smoke does it pull now. I'm going to go with the latter.:mustang: yeah me.
