Ya, I know you need to work to go on vacation, but I'm taking a vacation anyway. I've been trying to hit the gym hard the past 4 weeks, so my wife as a gift is sending me away to Santa Monica Calif. She's hired Lou Ferrigno as my personal trainer.
I get a whole week with the Hulk as a personal trainer, how awesome is that. Hopefully I dont piss him off hahaha, I figure I spend hundreds on supplements that dont get me anywhere, so why not spend the cash on hiring one of the biggest monsters in the business. I'm scheduled to leave in 2 weeks and I'm totally psyched, now I need to get my *** in shape before I go. So I'll try and take as many pics as I can with the Hulk, and post when I get back.

I've got my hotel and rented a Mustang Vert, I thought about renting the Hertz, but Santa Monica is one of the nicest beaches, so a convertible was a must. I'll probably end up making a full of myself and heading over to Venice and workout over at Muscle Beach I'll be the little guy pinned underneath the bar screaming for a spot:nutkick:

Some people go on vacations to relax, I'm going to go to lift weights and exercise.

Hello, everyone!!! :rockon:I'm back from Sunny California. Wow what a great lil vacation it was. My wife really outdid herself with giving this oppertunity as a gift to me. I got to LA and the weather was amazing. 70 degrees the whle time with a cool breeze off the ocean. Driving around in a convertible Mustang was the best especially up and down the Pacific Coast Highway. Gorgeous mountains flanked one side while the ocean view on the other was stunning.

Now the good stuff. I got a call from Lou Ferrigno on my cell wanting to see if I wanted to start training. So I sped back to the hotel got changed and anxiously headed over to his house where he set up his own gym. It was great to get the oppertunity to work one on one at his place.

We sat down and went over some goals I had before he loaded the weights.
Lou is awesome. A lot of celebrities and even a lot of pro bodybuilders from what I have seen have an arrogant attitude, but Lou was very down to earth. Greated me with a warm welcome and a slid handshake. We got along like old friends.

Lou recently was sworn in as a Deputy Sheriff for LA County. We had a lot to talk about Law Enforcement. Then we got to training I trained with Lou for 5 days, to help get into a routine of what and HOW I should be lifting. I thought lifting I always focused on trying to lift as much as I can, but from what I learnt from Lou, was it's so much more then that. For example I normally hit the gym and do the same Monday routine as every other Monday. I got mmore out of lifting 50 pound dumbells, then when I was lifting 80lb dumbells.

I've leaarned so much from him, and now I hope to achieve all my goals from learning from the best. One thing i got from Lou was his attitude about achieving goals. The man, came back from competeing in his first Mr. Olympia Contest in 1977 after 17 Years!!!! he made come back to compete in the Masters at age 43 and was the biggest he had ever gotten, at 325lbs!!! AMAZING!!!! Then he retired after lifting and set forth and gotten sworn in as a Reserve Law Enforcement Officer, and still makes movies.

Definitley motivated me. Lifting with Lou was a GREAT Experience, he treated me like one of his buddies at the gym. He trained me hard and pushed me harder. I really didnt feel like just another one of his clients, I felt ike he really wanted to help me achieve my goals.

Now the routine he worked up for me is based on a routine he uses himself.
Baasically a 8 days Working out with 1 day Off, and back to the beginning. So it looks like I'm gonna be busy.

Here's a pic I took with Lou at his gym, I also got an autographed photo and a video called Standing Tall which is VERY MOTIVATING!!!
As you can see Lou is now pretty shredded, while I'm the lil pugy guy standing next to him.

and here is the very first golds Gym. This is where they filmed Pumping Iron, it's been closed down and moved to a bigger location. Lou had me working out doing calf raises on this old calf machine, after I did my first set, Lou told me this is the one that ws in the old Golds gym, the same one he and Arnold and all the rest of the guys used and seen in pumping Iron.

well hope you enjoyed my pics. Santa Monica was beautiful, with lots to do, and a convertible Mustang makes it so much better.:burn:
