With the GT500 at $44K (500 hp) and the eagerly expected Shelby GT guestimate at $35K (320 hp), that leaves plenty of room for hp and not so much room for $$. So, lets get to building what we want in a GT350....
I want a unique hood, more color options than the GT, painted stripes, and 400hp.
Now, I could go on and on, but I want to see what you have to say on the matter. In the interest of thinking outside the box, what if Shelby did a GT350 with a (here comes the bashing) supercharged V6 rated at 350 hp?

I love my V6 and all, but I don't think a Shelby should have a V6.... I think I have seen a proto somewhere for that very thing though...

Yes, Shelby has a prototype called the CS 6. It has a supercharged V6 in it with many unique Shelby only parts to include the hood that now resides on the GT H.

The price point will be interesting if a GT350 does get released. I guess the main question is who is going to build it? If Shelby Auto builds it, it must be around 40k, if ford builds it, they could sale it for around the same 35k as the Shelby GT. I personally am waiting for the return of the Boss.

I would also like to see the Boss and or the Mach 1 again.... I would love a Mach 1 with factory shaker in this new body style.

I'm looking forward to having the BOSS also.
However, this thread is about the GT350. And since I've invited Amy Boylan to join our forums (if you don't know who she is, then go to the main page and watch Ep. 9 of Bold Moves) and she is looking to get feedback on what Mustang owners would look for in a Shelby product, that is why I'm asking what is it that we would want to see in the way of a GT350. She is out there and looking for feedback and has posted in other forums and I think it would be great if our club had some feedback since we have members who own nearly every type of Mustang out there.

Ok sorry bout that... back the the subject. I think the most important thing is going to be price point. As Wayne stated if your price point is too close to the GT-500 then people will just go for that one or not at all. I'm sure any option FORD offers on the new 2007 will be availalbe since it's built off that same plateform. Like we covered already. It is going to be key that this car has it's own style. I think it's own wheels are important as well as being functional... meaning if it has a hood scoop, make it functional, if it has side scoops... same. I would also really like to see some sort of fog lights on the car I think its a little naked with out something.

I'm fine with the styling, all the GT needs is the hertz hood and a set of wheels other than bullitts.
Maybe something from the Shelby line like this:
