My son would like to have the windows tinted in his first car which is not a Mustang due to the high cost of insurance. It is a 4-door 2002 Acura TL.
Does anyone have any recommendations for window tinting in the North Raleigh/Wake Forest area?
What is a reasonable tint for a daily driver (i.e., something that will keep the sun and heat down but still provide decent visibility at night)?
Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I had the tinting on my 2010 mustang done at Tint World in Cary. I had the 35% (darkest legal tint) done an it gives a nice bronze appearance and at night is hardly noticeable with regard to outward visability. Remember, the tinting will be slightly darker as the glass in the car already has some tint. I thought about a darker tinet, but I didn't want to deal with potential inspection issues. It cost me just over $300 for the highest quality with a lifetime replacement warranty against fading, peeling or cracking. So far after 9 months, no problems.

There's a place off US1/Burlington Mills called Wakefield ATV; http://www.wakefieldatv.com/
I have not used this company, but they have a pretty nice shop and do car/truck customizing if you're looking for someplace close to WF.

Tint World in Cary did my Mustang too. The guy that runs the shop there was my former supervisor when I was at Circuit City. Not the cheapest, but they did a great job on it.
