Info on the Gate City Triad Mustang and Ford show in Greensboro on 6/19.

Weather looks good for the Gate City Tirad Show on 6/19, hot with no rain and as of now I am planning on going. Registration starts @ 8:00 AM, ends at 11:00 AM. Anyone who is interested in going post here. We can meet at the Brier Creek Bob Evans @7:00 AM and will depart @ 7:15 AM. Russ Pratt let me know if you are in and we'll pick you up @ Lowe's in Mebane Exit 153.

Saturday turned out to be a good day for the Gate City Triad Car Show. Hot but no rain. Three (3) members of the HCMC turned out and all won top 50 plaques. Russell Pratt displayed his '65 K Code coupe, Clark Whitecliff (I think I remembered his last name) his Gen 1 convertible, and my 07 GT/CS. When I get a chance I will post some pictures of the show.

I have been around to so many shows this year my club shirt wasn't clean at the time, I think, but when you get my age you can't remember much. Being as I attend so many shows however, people always remember me even without my wonderful HCMC shirt. I enjoy being around cars so much and what a great life it is. I am just glad we were all able to talk for a bit and enjoy ourselves even though I didn't have my club shirt on (hint..hint).

I did introduce myself as a club member even though I did not have the club shirt on. the club shirt does not keep some of us older members cool enough. We dressed for health and not for looks.

On another note. I thought the car show was run very well and it was in a good location in a new shopping mall. Plenty of places to eat and get supplies. Had a good time there.
