Paul, I have one out of a 302 truck engine that you can have.
BUT if I were you, I'd spend the $99 at Advance to get a reman unit, so that you get a brand new PIP on the inside of the dizzy, and spend the $65 on the TFI module (along with $5 for heat transfer paste), so that you have a good, working distributor that won't leave you stranded on the side of the road.
My dizzy went out in 08, I had just pulled off 40 onto 54, and whamo the PIP died in the dizzy and now I had to buy the new parts AND pay for the tow. Used dizzy parts are flaky.

I hear ya, Dan - something crazy is going on. Our of nowhere the car intermittently simply won't start.
After the last session at the track Sunday and last night after the meeting to name a couple. Needed a push and clutch pop to get going.
Put a new TFI module on it already.

Have you troubleshot the starting system first? Seemed like you were having cranking issues, not ignition issues, since we push started it.
I'd look at battery voltage under load, alternator output (you still have the 2G), power cabling and fusible link from your 2G alt, starter motor, starter solenoid.
When I had a dizzy failure it would crank but never fire, or it would stall intermittently on me.

Switching after all huh Paul? Don't you have the MSD Pro Billet distributor?

Thanks for the offers and help, Dan, Richard, Carl, Joe.
Replaced alternator (still have the garbage 2G version), battery, starter solenoid, fusible link & checked power/ground connections
Moving on to the neutral safety switch next.
I think you're right Dan. Although I hear bad things about MSD distributors, I'm sticking with it - I don't think it's an issue, although always good to have a back-up for the track.
