Just wanted to give you guys an early heads up, Stangs R Us will hold its 2nd Annual Mustang Day at Kings Dominion . For those that attended last year with us you'll be happy to hear the admission price has only gone up $1 from last year. You get Admission , a meal, and special Parking for the admission price.(Cars will be on Display all day with security) We will post up more info as it's finalized ... Our date is June 5th 2010 -this an all Day Event

Spoke With Kings Dominion today they want to slightly change a few things.. nothing major...... Ticket Price will go up by $1 Meal time will change to 3-5 , Same Meal as before Fried Chicken, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Rolls, Soft Drinks, Iced Tea, and Ice Cream Treats . The fliers should be in production by the end of the week.

Prices should be

$36.50 REGULAR (Ages 3 to 61 AND 48" tall or taller.)
Juniors and Seniors Only $29.50

Ages 3 to 61 AND under 48" tall -OR- Ages 62 and above.
Children ages 2 and under admitted FREE.

If you are a 2010 Season pass holder

adult meal $16.00
junior meal $9.00

We will be Meeting at the Carolina Pottery again, exit 95 off interstate 95. Park opens at 10:30am, about 3 hour drive (193 miles).

Meet before 7 am, fueled up, plan on rolling at 7 am sharp?

That's kind of where we meet last year, there's a rest area just north of 64 in Rocky Mount on I95....

I this point in time I can not commit to going this year. I'm not sure what my work schedule will be that far out, last year I made the decision to go just before the deadline to purchase the tickets.

We're going, the SRUMC guys are meeting at Carolina Pottery off of Interstate 95, exit 95. Its a good bit south, and Carl said last year they met up near the 64 and 95 at a rest stop. I was planning on meeting them at Carolina Pottery, but if there are enough people I'd be glad to get a HCMC group together to meet them at the rest stop.

According to Google maps its about 54 minutes from the meetup spot for them and they are leaving at 7 am. Ras, would you also be interested in meeting the group at the 95-64 intersection?

We can plan to be there at 7:45a so they would basically need to pull into the rest stop and we could just jump in at the end of the line.

Looks like its about an hour to get to the rest stop, and my car runs about 230 miles on a tank, so I would prefer to get gas before we meet up, I say maybe plan to meet up around 6:30 if that would work for everyone. Almost hurts to say a time so early! lol

That's why we're meeting up at the Kangaroo. We're going to fill it up there, and hopefully we'll use the radios to figure out when we need to take an exit and refill.

Sweet! Sounds like we are ready! BTW, was it you that I saw on Tryon on Friday, Bullitt#193? There was a Bullitt and a Saleen going absolutely crazy around 4:30pm. I joined in the fun for about a mile, then I decided that I did not need another ticket so I went another way. The guys waved to me, I waved back. But I dont know who they were.
