I was browsing Auto Trader and I came across a 2008 500KR advertised at Capital Ford for 44525.00. I thought wow I need to take a closer look at this. When I went by Capital they had the car in the showroom, silver with blue stripes, untitled, not looking 3 years old. I got a salesman and questioned him and he said they actually want 80000.00. I think the tires might need replacing from dry rot before it gets sold. I told them they need to 1 get off the crack cause it is clouding their reality and change their advertising to the correct price. :bag::cop::jester::3stooges:

Is that the same one that has been sitting outside? In the rain?

What's up with these inflated Shelby prices? I love a classic Shelby as much as the next Mustang fan, but this is ridiculous!

Considering there are new ones adverstised on E-bay for very low 60s, they ARE on crack. Add to that enthusiasts that have heard about Shelby's horrible business practices and overpriced replacement parts, a lot of people don't want one at any price (me included).

I am not one who fell under the spell of the name. I saw the Ad and it was appealing enough to investigate. I expect an Email from their internet sales people, because I asked them to clarify the correct price.
