They obviously stole my chrome-shelby-looking-grill-with-pony-tribar-to-the-right-on-a-dark-metallic-red-looks-good thing I have going on my 06. Obviously.

I'm sure I'm one of the few that feel this way, but I'm NOT a fan of the car when looking at it from the rear & 3/4 view. I find myself feeling disappointed with that part of the design and wishing Ford would fix it.

You're definitely not alone on that, Joel. The 05-09 rear end definitely looked better, IMO.

Personally I would not have a 2010 if you gave it to me. Ford ruined it IMO.

At first I was actually of the opinion that the 2010 was not my cup of tea, but it has grown on me. While I certainly do not like the look of the GT's rear end with neither the stock spoiler nor the upgrade, the GT500 wing does improve a whole lot on it. The interior is nice -- to put it mildly.

The rear is sort of hideous but the other changes and the inclusion of the 5.0 Makes it a super car. I could live with the rear

And I almost typed "Eric may chime in on this topic."

I'm glad to hear you guys feel the same way, question is, can they salvage it? I do agree the additions from the California Special & Shelby help, but it's kind of like putting lipstick on a pig. Agreed, the new 5.0 is exciting.
I've stopped and looked at the new body style in GT and Shelby form figuring it's like me and just can't manage to take a good photo :) but the photos are accurate and the rear was still ugly.
On a side note, I had a close look with the owner of a new SS Camaro, (IMO it has just as many design flaws, many pertaining to the rear), but with the nose shape I thought it should have been called a Firebird because it looks like the car has a beak.

You would think, in the case of the Camaro that GM would have done better than build a pony car off an existing zeta platform shared by G8 and CTS. They made the same shortcut as Chrysler and their cars are way too heavy. The Mustang despite its flaws is showing considerable engineering and forethought into improving performance. We came very close to having a future ecoboost V6 GT. Ford probably had a knee jerk reaction to the Challenger and Camaro when they did the redesign of the exterior but, it does show that they are active in trying to keep it fresh.

Being a 2010 owner opinions are fine i can live with any negative comments, but get real, if someone walked up to you and handed you the keys, yeah right, you'll turn away and say no thanks, no and before you come back on that, I know you'll take the keys and sell it, my first Stang, Owned 40 new cars since '76, BWN Z3, Caddy's, Vettes, Toyota, many GM's this is by far the most solid car ever and handle, my gosh, only one comes close to this is the Z3.

One thing I'd like to see is the big plastic bit on the back painted. I honestly think the front of the 2010's look decent and Mustang like, but the rear has that huge diffuser look-a-like that just doesn't do the car any justice.
I found some new pics of the new Steeda Q350. New thread coming up.

I completely agree with how solid the new Mustangs are. They are a step up in many ways from prior years. IMO the majority of the exterior is fine, it's just the rearend that needs to be reshaped. Yep you're right I would sell it.

I didn't like the rearend at first either, but it kinda grows on you.
Besides, I don't see much of it from the driver's seat...

I use to think the same thing about the rear end looking bad, but at Mustang Week, I saw one that was the dark blue color. And it was then and there that I fell in love with it.

crossroads has a black vert that they were going to put me in before i decided on the v6, cuz it had the 5.0, nav sysytem, HID'S but was 44,000+, lot more than i wanted to pay, hell for that much should just go for GT500

The 2011 GT500s are still quite a bit more than that, but I definitely see your point. I'd get an 08 or 09 GT500 before I got that black one.
Although, I think I'd just get the base 5.0 in Kona Blue for $29k out the door. Carl's new red one put down 394hp to the rear wheels with the stock air box, and a canned SCT tune. Now that's impressive.

I don't see how you're coming up with "$29K out the door" for the new 5.0.
They sticker at 32,980 base with cloth and the Brembo brakes. Even with a discount, you still have tax ($990), title, license, doc fees ($400).
