How does the price compare across the board? Is Crossroads priced inline with the competition or have they spent too much time watching the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction?

There are a couple of dealers on the Team Shelby website selling their KRs for MSRP, which is around $85k or so. It all depneds on how desperate they are to unload their inventory. Plus the '09 KRs are now in production.

Crossroads had three on site. A black on black one that just sold for $100,000 and two silver with blue for $83,000. Also a Ford GT that was $167,000 or something like that. I'll take one of each.

The black ones seem to sell better.. Crown Ford here in Fay had a black one that sold in less than a week.. they have two silver/blue ones that are still there.
LaFayette has 2009 KR #0003.. it's silver and blue. Last I knew the price was well over 100K but Don doesn't really want to sell it..

What is different on the KR vs. the "regular" GT500s?

There's got to be more than that.

Carbon hood, front splitter and mirror covers. Recessed hood pins. Upgraded brakes and functional brake ducts. Upgraded suspension, eg. stiffer springs and sway bars, and I think the shocks and struts are slightly different as well. Also, the production KR comes with 18" Alcoa rims.
Oh, and the badging and limited production run.

:bag:It is an investment. The car will be worth at least 30-40k in 10 years.
