Felt like I was having a heat stroke yesterday but it was worth it to get out and wash the old gal during the kids nap time (also known as "the only time Dad can sneak out to the garage and work on the Stang time!"). Couldn't resist taking a few pics while I was at it.

It looks great! Is that Vintage Burgandy? That was the color of my first ('66 GT) Stang. Still one of my favorite colors.

Very nice, all cleaned up and ready for the HCMC car show on the 21st.... :mindcontrol:

It is Vintage Burgundy. I wish it was ready for the show on the 21st! Strategic camera angles fail to show the hockey tape patch work on the tired old vinyl top! From 20 feet you can hardly tell! A new top is the next thing on the list...

I have those same times. With work all week and a 20 month old you have to steal away any moments that you can. Great looking ride.

Looks great in the pictures, just always keep her 20 feet out in front and your set.

It's a slightly warmed up 289. With Tri-Y headers and a Flowmaster exhaust her bark is worse than her bite! Tons of fun for cruising. Just need to fix an overheating problem and I will be able to enjoy more than just a cruise around the block!
