For those who care, yes, this week I really thought we were going to lose. A very frustrating game to watch. Luck was involved. Nice catch at the end. Glad there was no time left!

No such thing as luck, Wayne. Ravens looked like they were 8-4, not 4-8 until the late meltdown.

I was concerned it was going to be another blowout when the Ravens started with 3 defensive penalties on the very first drive of the game, but it turned into a really tight game. I love close games, no matter who I'm rooting for. :)

props to the Pats, even if i still think they're yankees in funny clothes... ;)

One thing I'm disapointed about is the Balt. players saying that the refs helped NE win the game. Clearly you see the time out called by a Balt coach. Then you see that NE definately had a flase start. Neither of those calls were incorrect. Most definately they were unfortunate for Baltimore, but the calls were correct. The last NE touchdown was a catch. Yes, the ball did move some while he was in the process of tucking it into his shoulder. But it seemed to me he caught the ball. Nothing there was given to them.

And if you want to really look at the refs calls, what about the last play of the game where you had two Balt receivers around three NE defenders just outside the endzone. One of the receivers (#85) was pulling and nearly tackling the defenders so that they could not jump for the ball.

I give Baltimore a heck of a lot of credit for nearly beating NE. They should have won that game. But it isn't because the refs were against Baltimore, it was because Baltimore just couldn't play mistake free football in the last 4 min. of the game.

If NE loses a game, I'll hate that we lost but I'd rather win the super bowl. If they go undefeated, great and I look forward to no longer hearing about Miami's undefeated season champaign chilling on ice.
