Hi,
Im from Holland Europe (the hague)
i own a 67 fastback for many years
ive owned a 70 ***** chevelle convertible for like 8 yrs and used it as a daily driver.
i will be going to NC in December and am looking for some info on car related stuff going on there
can anyone tell me if there are shows or a museum of car collection around Fayetteville where i will be staying?
Does your club have a club building or a place where you meet?
is there in Fayetteville a mequiars dealer? and a business that sells good (reproduction) mustang parts?
i am looking for backup lights and the chrome of the rear (brake) lights
currently i have the original dashboard without rev.
i dont think to keep it close to origina l the best is to buy a new dash with the rev built iin right?
ok hope to hear from you soon
Peter

Welcome to the site! Glad you found us!
Unfortunately we won't have a meeting in December, but check this link for our regular meeting info: http://www.hcmcstangs.com/forums/view.php?pg=meetinginfo
How long will you be in the US?
Some of the folks on here can answer your other questions. :)

Hey Peter, you have a great year stang. This is a great club with many diverse members and cars. There is a local store in Cary called Carolina Mustang that can get you almost anything you may need and you can ask other members. As a fellow classic owner I can tell you that boxes of spare parts comes with owning an old car. Also if you have questions or need help just ask and possibly someone will have the time.
As for checking out some cars, we post stuff about shows on the site, but the season has turned a bit cool for that. There is a decent classic dealer in Lillington with a good number of cars called East Coast Classics. If I remember correctly the site was something like www.ecoastcc.com . I found their cars were pretty good, nothing extraordinary though.
Hope you are here for January's meeting. It would be interesting to meet you.

Hey Peter, we may have the parts that you need but i'm not sure if my grandpa would like to get rid of them yet? I can ask and see what he says. Will you be staying in Fayetville once you're over here?

:welcome33: to the forums!
As those who have already posted, Carolina Mustang in Cary, NC, had many reproduction parts for our earlier generations. I'm not sure if they have what you are looking for specificly, but I'm not aware of anyone in the area that has more classic parts.
If you do come to Cary, take a ride over to CrossRoads Ford. They are our main sponsor and have a huge indoor showroom that houses many classic Ford's. Amoung them are some very cean and running Mustangs. That is the closest thing we have to an automotive museum in the area that I'm aware of.
As a local club, we don't have a building we own for meetings, but we do have a monthly meeting with the exception of December. All the details about the club can be found by selecting "About HCMC" in the nav bar.
Again, welcome to the site and I hope you are able to locate the parts you need.
