Hey guys/gals,

I'm the proud owner of a 66Coupe I6 and 99GT.

So...I'm also looking for a good local garage to do some work on the 66. Hopefully, I'll get to finish the whole v8 conversion in the next few years. Any advice is greatly appreciated -especially where to find some local junkyard parts - motor, trans, drivetrain, rear, etc or a whole 70's lincoln versailles. The 66 was a 15th birthday present for the wifey from her dad. He rebuilt it and has since passed away. So lots of emotional attachment there - I'm having to beg to mod it! I got the v8 past the committee by agreeing NOT to buy a motorcycle  (and the fact that we'll never sell it because of the dad attachment - so we might as well make it as fun as it is pretty).

BTW...it's not numbers correct or original spec or whatever the verbiage is.

The 99 is bone stock.

Hope all is well.

Welcome to the site.

I couldn't answer the question as to where you could get it restored. We do have a number of people in the club with classic Mustangs that some have restored and some are on going. You are probably better off coming to a meeting or an event and talking to someone who has been down this road than getting your answer here.

Hope to meet you at a future meeting/event.

Welcome to the club, there are a few somewhat local (in-state) resto places, searching online may be your best bet. I recieved a flyer recently of one opening in Concord in Nov. Any assistance I can be just ask. I just took my 67 vert of the road for hopefully only a few weeks to modify and update a few areas. Good to have you here.
