Subject: FW: Ford Motor Company news

Good morning --

My firm is working with Ford Motor Company on a PR project and part of our responsibility is to reach out to Ford enthusiasts. Judging by your club's website, I think you definitely fit into that category!

Safety and affordability are two main areas of focus and the attached article (http://www.hcmcstangs.com/HTML/What_to_Say_If_Someone_Asks.pdf) addresses both of those. Would it be possible for you to include the article in your next newsletter, or perhaps post it on your website?

I have always been a big fan of the Mustang. What year/model do you drive?

Interesting article, but I'm already tired of the JD Power bla bla that Ford has been pushing down every avenue of advertisement. It is on their website, their banner ads, the Mustang Mag's, emails, all Ford publications I receive, etc... I'm the proud owner of two Ford products currently and my last three vehicles have been Ford's, but enough of the barage of "look what we did" already. I may be in the minority as far as watching and following what Ford does on a weekly basis and that may be why I'm already tired of hearing about it.

Way to go Ford! but could you bring it down a notch?

I agree Wayne - they say as much in their own release:
Todayʹs customers are armed with facts and data they pull from third‐party sources and comparison data off the Internet.

They don't need to reach out to us, the Ford enthusiasts. They need to convert the people that are buying the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry over and over .
