Got this over at IMBOC.COM. They say it is the real deal but we will see

Yes this is real, i just recieved this information from our Ford regional rep. This is what some have been hoping for, and what some have not been hoping for. But this is what the 2008 Bullitt will be.

Thanks for posting those Jeremy. I like the concept pictures, though I am disappointed if Ford is only going to slap the power-pack on it and call it a day. IMO it deserves more. No doubt they will all sell like hot-cats, and I'm sure the dealers will do their best to jack the stickers on them.

They need to call Saleen and put that 400HP stroker in it if noting else. Shame it wont have any more HP than that.

they dont want it to compete with the $40k shelby with 15 extra hp is my guess. I think the bullitt will go a few thousand over the regular gt. Cant give it more hp than the "AMAZING SHELBY GT"(:rolleyes:)

I mean the Shelby GT looks good EXCEPT for that hood scoop.

Why bother if it's only gonna have 312 HP ?

If it's all about the exterior looks, they shoulda given it an ELEANOR (sp?) hood.

It would be better if it had 350+hp. :)
