Keep in mind that quite of few of those couch racers obtained most of their "cars sense" from the road test articles in Motor Trend, Car and Driver and Road & Track magazines.

I posted the link to this gentleman because he happens to own both a Cobra R and a GT500 he has given a honest appraisal of the GT500 also his videos show in the right hands it can be a pretty mean machine. If Ford was serious about performance they would offer a manracer type GT500 to the public with a backseat delete, racing seats and some other goodies for the hardcore folks.
