cracked upper intake !!!!

Well, as I pulled into the driveway tonight, i noticed what I thought was steam coming from under the hood. Popped the hood and found that my upper intake manifold has cracked right where the thermostat is, and dumped coolant all over my driveway. Anyone have an idea where I could pick up a new manifold and thermostat for cheap? Any help would be great .... thanks. It is a 96 GT.

I thought there was a recall from Ford for this defect. Check that out first.

There was a recall. I had a '96 GT convertible that had the intake cracked. Ford brought a tow truck to the house and fixed it, no charge.

Wow, that's good service! What dealer did it? I know Sanders Ford in Jacksonville wouldn't have done that.

It was actually Capital Ford, if you can believe that! This was back in about '98-'99 though.
