1971PONY

Hey Guys (and Gals?)-
I'm new to the forum, so I figured I ought to throw out a "Wassup" to everyone. I've been a Member of HCMC for years (off and on, mostly "off" until the last several months). Many of you who attend the monthly meetings at Danny's will know me by my Metallic Blue '71 Coupe with argent factory stripes, as well as my "1971PONY" tags on it. Basically, I've lived, ate, slept and breathed Mustangs since roughly 1984 or so. I've been "pretty ate-up" with the '71-'73 cars, but I like 'em all, old and new - just so long as they will at least spin a tire on dry pavement! I have owned 8 Mustangs : (2) '71 Coupes, a '90 former-NCHP (SSP) car, a '90 LX Hatch 4 banger (yeah, I know- but it was only to be transpo for 6 months!), a '93 GT (bought new @ X-Rds), a '92 SSP packaged car, A '94 GT Convert, and a '97 GT Convert.
The only one remaining in the stable is my first- the '71 Coupe. Pretty much every part (literally) has been replaced at least once, most items 2-3 times during my 22+ years of ownership, and it's current 274, 000+ miles. It was my daily driver through High School and College, and delivered (literally) thousands of pizzas for Domino's from 1986-1993(plenty of stories there!). It's now powered by a '94 model 351 Windsor roller-rocker motor. It's by no means King of the Dragstrip, but turns heads and can definitley get out of it's own way when needed.
I look forward to BS'ing with ya'll and checking out your rides! I'll be going to the SJAFB car show this Saturday, so I'll probably meet a few of you there.
Keep it between the ditches!
