I have a shifter to install. I should be able to do it myself, but it would be nice to have some "adult supervision"

Maybe so, because my date the other day told me I was like a kid with big expensive toys. True that! And yes I had a date but I am not sure about a second one because she started in on the cars.http://hcmcstangs.com/forums/images/icons/icon13.gif

I am not sure about the one I'm picking up this weekend. I got it off of ebay. I may have to do some before and after pictures on this one.

Chuck I can help you with the shifter. We don't need you on the rack to do that. Also, David hasn't replied, but if he has his steering wheel by then, I'll come prepared for that as well.
My stuff is quick. Change out the fuel filter and put the new brake ducting on (hopefully for the last time).
Any other steering wheels, shifters, or caliper swaps?

Hey guys I will be there Sunday.
I am going to take Wayne up on his offer to install my new parts.
As long as the UPS truck don't break down I'll have a MGW shifter to put on.
Picked up the new steering wheel today so it needs to be put on as well.... not sure if it is a exact color match but I sure like the way it feels.

Man, you said it. Richard was a great host to another sucessful Tech day. For those who don't know Richard, he has the set-up, the tools, and the know how for anything you need done on a mustang. Richard and Wayne both led the way on a couple of different projects, showing us newbies how it's done.:leghump:
Chuck and David got their hands dirty too. They gave me a hand on my projects and guys I really appreciate it!
Now hear this, THE QUIET COBRA IS NO MORE!!! BEWARE, I BITE 2.

No problem here. Thanks again Richard! Although I feel beat down today, it is worth it for one those memorable days.
Anyone else need to replace their steering wheel?

I think a fun time was had by all. And we are not going to talk about how much food we ate for lunch at McCalls. Thanks for lunch Will. I think the neighbors enjoyed seeing the cars too. Not to mention somebody making the little girl cry. Let me know when we want to do it again and again.

I had a great time also. I had no 2nd gear issues since the first shift after the install ...... might have to chalk that one up to operator error ...... but that would involve admitting a mistake ....... hmmmm ........nevermind:grinking:
