Hey all,

I am new to the whole classic car thing. I have a 67 mustang convert that has a number of non-stock parts. Chrome wheels w/ radial tires, a digital dash, Alpine stereo are always visible. Under the hood, the original 289 has been bored out and turned into a HIPO. Also the V belts have been replaced with a serpintine belt. The car is very nice and I would like to enter it in some of the upcoming shows, but it is not original, so what class would I put it in under?

Thanks for your help.

Each show is different. Some shows do not have classes while others have several. Your best bet is to pick up a Mustang Club of America magazine, they always have the classes in the back.

If they have classes, you should be in some sort of modified or resto-mod class. Then again, I am no expert. I only show mine when it is for a good cause or it's a club gathering.
