Sounds like your getting pretty close to being able to claim lemon law on this stang. I understand the helpless feeling, I had an '06 Charger that had tranny problems. It spent almost a 3 weeks total on 4 different visits.
BTW, happy b-day!

According to the lemon law papers that I recieved when I bought my Charger and http://www.carlemon.com/lemon/NC_LemonGuide.html..

The law presumes that "a reasonable number of attempts have been undertaken" to fix the defects if:

The same defect has been presented to the manufacturer, or its authorized dealer for repair four or more times without success, or

The vehicle has been out of service during or while awaiting repair of a defect or series of defects for a cumulative total of 20 or more business days during any 12 month period of the warranty, provided that the consumer has notified the manufacturer directly in writing of the existence of the defects or series of defects and allowed the manufacturer a reasonable period, but not more than 15 calendar days, to fix them. This last requirement makes it vital that customers write the manufacturer directly about the problems early on if the dealer is having trouble getting them fixed. Do not let the dealer talk you out of writing the manufacturer directly. You must do this to get your rights under the law.

I completely agree that getting a car bought back under this law is fairly hard. From what I've gotten from reading, after the 4th+ time of fixing, you must send a written warning that you are going to proceed with trying to enact the law on it. Then they are allowed, to an extent, to continue to try and fix it or buy it back. The ball is actually more in their court than you would think.

Fuel delivery issue. What is it exactly that you are bringing the car back for? What are the symptoms? Does it stall, does it idle irradicly, runs lean or rich?

Just based on what little we know at this point, you said you had put an K&N CAI kit on it. If the filter was over charged with oil, that over spray can work it's way back to the MAF and causing it to read incorrectly and misleading the computer to think that there isn't enough air going into the engine resulting in the computer to lean it out. This might appear as a fuel starvation problem?

Any takers on that guess?

The MAF meter has two or three VERY fine hairlike sensors on it. If ANY amount of **** by filter oil comes in contact with it, it will send a mis-lead reading to the ECU. You can pull the MAF off and use an electronic parts cleaner spray, or remove the K&N for a couple days and drive it stock to rid the oil from the sensor. Also, some cars do not like the CAI without a tune. I know my 06 ran very lean before the tune and then ran fine with one. Regardless, it sounds like an improper fuel mixture. Did it do it b4 the intake?
