I went into this movie thinking that the movie was the story of Queen Elizabeth II and her rise to Queen of England. Instead, it was a movie about the Queen around the time of Princess Dianna's death and Priminister Blair's commitment to the Queen in his new position. The acting was great, some of the locations were amazing. On the whole, it was a semi interesting story into British affairs of the time. Those who don't keep up on current events might not find this movie interesting at all. It is a drama almost turning to a documentary with a moment or two of comedy.

This film is in limited release so if you are looking to see this movie, be sure to check the papers.

I thought the media frenzy around Diana throughout her life with the Royals was absolutely ridiculous. I didn't pay attention to anything they reported about her. I went into this movie with just a little information about her and her family, mainly the car accident that took her life. I too felt the movie was interesting, but the life styles of the Royals and Tony Blair was even more interesting. I like that we were given a peek at their personal lives. I didn't know much about Tony Blair, but this movie gave me a side of him you often don't see from a political figure. I don't want to give too much away. This movie is a "must see".
