Well, I finally got a day off from work that my wife is off too. I will be putting the Stang on the rollers tomorrow (1-24-07) at 9:30. Weather will be cold, yet sunny. Let's see what kind of numbers I get. I'll post them up when I get home around 11:00.

Just got finished a little while ago. These were the numbers I did at Fastlane on 11-29-06:
CAI and Flowmasters: Best rwhp= 278.86 STD (with converter spike)
Best rwtq= 286.86 STD (with converter spike)
Haywood's 1-24-07
Today with my mods
listed in "Member rides"= Best rwhp= 300.86 SAE (no converter spike)
Best rwtq= 309.68 SAE (no converter spike)
After several runs, Haywood's was able to control my rpm's good enough to virtually eliminate the converter spike, so my numbers are accurate.
I'll get the sheets posted sometime tonight.

Sounds like a very fun morning. Congrats on the numbers, the car is doing well. Did you already install your headers. I'll catch you online.
Later,
Joel.

Just the stock Ford headers for now, everyone said the 300 bucks for the headers won't do much in the HP department. I can use that $$$ for something better in the future.

Headers would be a good idea if you were considering forced induction...otherwise get some gears.

Yeah, me and the guys have talked alot about forced induction. Now, I can just save up my $$$ to do a bigger add on like NOS or a blower. In due time that is. I have pretty much maxed out all the major bolt ons to get me over the 300 mark. I am very satisfied now. I have been saving my overtime $$$ to get something going here for the past few weeks. Mean time, I'm gonna enjoy my toy.

Ya I hear you sometimes it freaks me out with all the money I've spent on my car that I basically have 2 Kias and a Hyundai under my hood.

when we had the club dyno day at Haywoods, we were able to get the actual files instead of a screen picture. Any chance you got that also. Hammy .... my computer crashed and I wiped / reinstalled everything ...... except the program to read those .drf files ..... where can I get the reader?
Didn't intend to hijack, but its related since IF Joe got the files, he will need the reader also.

Chuck, I know that Haywood's will be in their new Benson shop Feb. 1st. The dyno is coming out tomorrow with the computer I think. I have one file on it with a few pulls listed. I didn't get the files but I saw them and just about everyone elses. Maybe when the shop re-opens we can get some.

Do you have the new address for Randy's shop, Joe?
jnatale3
01-25-2007, 09:37 AM
the new shop will be off of HWY 42 right near HWY 50 in Benson. It is a couple miles down from Mt.Pleasant road. I will cointact them this afternoon and get the exact address. I think it is in the shopping center called "Black River".

Is Hwy 42 and 50 considered Benson??? That's a long drive from downtown Benson :)

I tried to call the shop today, but they are busy moving the shop out. I know the last time I Mapquested it from Fuquay, it was 20 miles and some change. There is a strawberry patch on 42 if you're headded towards the Cracker Barrel, make a right on that road (Mt.Pleasant Rd) and the road is a couple miles down there.
I'll post the exact address ASAP.

Randy has tuned my car four times at different times for "upgrading" purposes. "I just can't leave it alone!":p
I am interested in where the new shop is also. I may need him to tune my car again.
