Car show invitation from the South Chatham Ruritan Club:

Ruritan is a national organization dedicated to improving communities and building a better America through Fellowship, Goodwill, and Community Service.  Our local club’s mission is to meet the needs of farms in the Southern part of Chatham County.  We provide scholarships to deserving seniors from Chatham Central HS among other community projects and goodwill.

We are hosting a Classic Car Show on Saturday, August 16^th, in Bear Creek.  All profits from this show will benefit the South Chatham Ruritan Club, and hence the South Chatham community.  Since this is a 1st Annual car show, we would greatly appreciate it if you could spread the word to the members of your car club.  There will be 1st Annual Dash Plaques given to the first 75 cars that pre-register.

When: Saturday, August 9th.  Rain date on Saturday, August 16th
Time: Registration from 9am to 11:30am.  Awards given at 1:00pm.
Where: Hart Pumpkin Farm, 885 Meroney Church Rd, Bear Creek, NC
Price: $20 day of the event or pre-register online by Aug 2nd for only $15!
Judging: 11:30am judging with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd plaques for each category awarded @ 1pm.
Categories: <’49, ‘50-’64, ‘65-’85, >’85, Mustangs, Corvettes, Exotics, Trucks (depending on Sponsorship, more classes may be added)
Entertainment: DJ entertainment, Corn hole tournament, $20 per team, cash prize, registration by 12pm. 50/50 raffle, tickets $1 each or 6 for $5, winning ticket will be drawn at 1:00pm.
Food: We will have lunch and drinks being served throughout the event.
