The Heart of Carolina Mustang Club held their Spring Display at Crossroads Ford in Cary on Saturday March 27th. There were over 40 members who brought out their cars on a chilly but otherwise beautiful morning. Some milled around the lot, doing some last minute cleaning or just chatting and renewing acquaintances, and others tried to beat the cold by checking out the massive indoor showroom. As always there was free popcorn, coffee, and soft drinks. Everyone took the opportunity to check out the club display that is nearing completion. In addition to the many new Fords for sale inside the building, there is always a collection of classic cars and trucks that makes a visit to Crossroads somewhat akin to a trip to an automobile museum, or at least down memory lane. At lunch time we were treated to some Domino’s pizza. Brian Soles brought the new club shirts, and as usual, he did an outstanding job. The shirts look great. Brian was last seen taking a road test with his wife Beth and our club contact Steve Carson in a brand new Ford Flex. Glenn Roberts handed out member packets, membership cards, and antenna flags. We picked up several new members as well. Overall, it was another great day for the Heart of Carolina Mustang Club.
