On Friday, February 5th, 2010, members of the Heart Of Carolina Mustang Club traveled to Camp Lejeune to present a check to the Wounded Warriors Battalion East. The funds were raised at last years American Stampede Mustang Show we hosted at the NC State Fairgrounds. Read more
On Sunday, February 28th, members of the Heart Of Carolina Mustang Club met at the Buffalo Lanes South for a day of bowling. 51 members and their guests, friends and family, were in attendance. Glenn and Sharon Roberts, who are regular bowlers, planned and led this event. We began bowling at 2 pm and continued until about 4:30. There were smiles all around as the bowling began. There were a myriad of different skill levels present, as evidenced by the score boards. Braden Soles scored his first strike ever. Glenn bowled a truly exceptional game with 10 strikes in a row, ending with a 247. Nelson Metke bowled a 58 on his first game, and a 153 on his second. Violet Evans nailed a 4-6-10 split. Jonathan Dunhem outscored his dad Dan 72 to 57. Matt Ottey scored a 204 followed by a 203. Everyone had a great time.
